"This is perfect for a couple. We did see a bball hoop, horseshoe pit and volleyball net. Wish we knew we would have had some extra fun. There was a firepit but didnt know how to work it which sucked but overall recommend."

"My friends and I had a very comfortable stay at this property! The home is close to the downtown shops and restaurants and there is ample parking. We were very comfortable in the large space and it was nice to have our own beds and sleeping spaces. Everything was very clean and there were lots of extra towels in case we needed them. The gas fireplace kept us warm and cozy. We will definitely book again! "

"We had the best time here. Skied in Breckenridge day one and monarch on day two. Day three was the train ride in leadville. Skiing was great and the train ride was so fun. The loft was perfect. Right in downtown and we could walk to great restaurants in town. All the cute shops are great and everyone is so friendly. Our last night was new years eve and the city had a block party and it was rocking! What a great place to spend with someone you love. Happy new year!"

"A group of nurses here planned a getaway to Mt Princeton hot springs, and to spend time together celebrating a couple birthdays. The house was super clean with lots of space and comfortable. Beautiful views right on the river. Highly recommend and will consider this place in the future. "

"A nice cozy house. Plenty of spaces to spread out and enjoy. Close to everything - hiking, jeep trails, hot springs, horseback riding. Wonderful fall break to Buena Vista. "

"This log cabin was a perfect fit for our family. We had a great stay. Cabin had everything we needed and was close to the downtown area, hiking & hot springs. Grace was a great host and it was a please to meet and talk with her. "

"There were some minor property issues, but they were not even close to a deal breaker. The House was clean and bright and had everything we needed. My family had a wonderful time. I enjoyed being back in the Heart of the Rockies and in the heart of downtown. I was a geology student in Salida in the mid-90s, and it was great to see that this town is still strong. I loved seeing some of the same places I frequented are still around."

"As we drove down the road we took notice of all the nearby cabins and none have the views this one does. Incredible views and we got the “frequent visitors” our last morning there. Place is clean and can get really toasty if you want it to with the fireplace and heating. Fire pit and hot tub were great for the winter weather while we were there. Definitely will stay again. "

"The cabin is in a perfect position to ski at monarch mountain and still make a trip into salida if you want to without much travel time. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was very roomy with everything you’d need. Overall it was the perfect place for my friends and I to stay for our ski trip! Would stay again if given the opportunity."

"Very well maintained and clean cabin, and our host was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We especially enjoyed the fireplace, the hot tub, and the privacy of the cabin. Outside of the master bedroom is a stream you can hear at night while sleeping. We had everything we needed and our kids are already asking to stay there again for future ski trips to Monarch. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!"
