"The cabin was very clean. There was no firewood available to purchase, and the hot tub would not hold the heat, even in 50° weather. The hot tub was very clean as well. The DVD player worked. The short walk to the trail was nice, and the time it took to get to the bridge was less than an hour. We did not find a creek anywhere near the cabin that was accessible."

"House is much larger than pictures and everything is spread out and comfortable. While it’s a little dated; it has everything you need for a great stay with family or friends. We were 20 mins from Charlottesville and Monticello. There were no check out instructions but we tried to clean things up. The cleaning fee was also incredibly reasonable! We would definitely stay here again with a group! "

"The interior of this older home is spotless and roomy. The beds were very comfortable, the two bathrooms were up to date, the kitchen had all appliances, The manager was very communicative. We are possibly returning in the summer for a stay here. The town of Powhatan is small and beautiful."

It truly was a luxury experience and everyone had their own bed and bath and privacy and lots of space and lots of gathering time.
