"Fantastic cottage for our short break. Communication with owner and directions to the property were perfect. The cottage was spotless on arrival and the pool was even better than the photos. The surrounding area was beautiful and great for walking. All in all one of the best short breaks we’ve ever had."

"Really good location- good base to explore the surrounding areas from- Greeted by Richard who showed us around explaining everything we needed to know and told us some places to visit and eat. The accommodation is first class and highly recommended. Very clean with good appliances from washing machine to toaster. Very comfortable seating to view the large tv along with the comfortable beds in both rooms. We will certainly be booking again in the near future. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "

"Ideal location for exploring the Peak district Property was spotless, nicely furnished, well equipped kitchen. Availability of Netflix very nice touch. Property advertised for up to 10, but would think it could be a bit of a squeeze unless several of party were small children. There were 6 of us and it was perfect size"

"We were only staying for three nights which was a shame as could have done with longer.. We found the cottage easily, it was warm, clean and comfortable. Great walking from the front door. We hopped on a bus to Bakewell and had a wander around the town and hopped on a bus back. Would thoroughly recommend "

"Acer Cottage is ideally situated for exploring the area. Tideswell is peaceful yet very well served with essential services. It was a treat to find the Merchant’s Yard just steps away and the bakery was great too. The cottage itself was equipped and furnished to a high level and communication before arrival was excellent. "The Cotton Rooms was perfectly located for everything in Matlock, plus lots of walks nearby. Spotlessly clean and with lots of added touches, including a lovely Christmas tree! Just a bit noisy on the road at night but it was New Year and we were next to a few pubs so was as expected. Great stay, would definitely go back!"

"Lovely stay. The cottage was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Vicky was always on hand when needed and communication was great - super quick! Loved coming outside to the chickens and seeing the horses when we arrived. We had a really nice stay and would definitely recommend/return!"
