"Uniqueness starts with being able to see Kiwi in their natural habitat! Each night they come out as well as an abundance of bird life, 55 types! Cabins have nice privacy and balconies. Big fridge in our 2 bedroom cabin, plenty of space and a comfy couch too! Pool has been just upgraded so brand new! Toy outdoor corner that kids loved! "The view & sounding beach area is fantastic. Beautiful spot to wake up to! Our room needed a really good vacuum, especially behind bed side tables etc. The outdoor furniture on our deck was really dirty as well as the tiles. Nothing that a water blast wouldn't fix. The shower curtain is well passed it's used by date. Only place for it is the bin. Daily room service doesn't include making beds, which we found strange. Overall, it's all very tired looking. "My deluxe suite room, with spa bath, was just lovely. The view from the deck was of lovely trees, and you could see birds playing on the lawn. The whole room was spotless and furnishings were new and comfortable, especially the bed and pillows. The staff very friendly and helpful. Only 2km to Kerikeri shops and the weekend market was in walking distance. Would recommend."

"Friendly staff. Spacious one bedroom apartment with view and patio doors opening towards beach. I made good use of the kitchenette. Had a nice Chicken Caeser Salad without bacon and a nice glass of Rosé for dinner in the restaurant. I charged my electric car overnight. "

"We loved our stay! There were several activities for the kids including a trampoline, play ground, and games room. It’s right next to a gorgeous beach. We had a bbq area right outside our room which was great. Our cabin was small but had everything we needed. Would definitely love to come back!"
