"When we saw the room was disappointing. In the description it said it has heating, but the only thing it had was a little heat fan. We probably wouldn't have taken that room (or hotel) if we had known it. By the way, our bathroom had a water leak (or it seemed it), but when we arrived at night we found a cockroach in the room and we asked for to change the room. Finally, they found that a pipe was broken. One last thing, the description said "free wifi" and it's true, but only 500MB. Nowadays...

"We loved the area and our stay here. If we happen to be in Kaikoura again we would definitely choose to stay here again. It was warm, comfortable, quiet, helpful, responsive and beautiful views from our front windows of the landscape. There was easy parking, check-in and check out. The staff even helped me spray off the mud from my shoes and socks when returning from a run on the peninsula loop. Also, there are restaurants within walking distance as well.
