If you are planning a trip to Oboke Gorge and the Iya Valley, this would be the wisest option. Just consider the CRAZY zigzagging roads made out of impossible curves to drive all around the valley. "Loved my stay here. The location was great, just a short walk to the main vine bridge in Iya Valley. But it's also secluded enough to really feel the remoteness of Iya Valley. My room was wonderful, very well appointed and clean. The high point was the staff. They were all wonderful and kind, and went above and beyond during my stay. They even drove me to the bus stop in the morning so that I wouldn't have to walk with my suitcase. I would absolutely stay here again."

"Yumeno Onsen is located near a beautiful river which I could see from my room and the dining room. I really enjoyed my stay in this quiet and relaxing place. The Ryokan offers everything you need (Yukata, Toothbrush, Towels for body and face and a a razor, as well as tea and shampoo/conditioner/body soap in the Onsen itself). The breakfast and dinner was amazing! I The Hotel offers a lot of different Washoku-dishes that you can barely finish it. It was a 10/10 stay!"
