"Lovely place to stay the night whilst we were visiting Chatsworth House. Nice and quiet ample parking. The room was really clean and everything we needed was provided even a fan which was a god send as the weather was sweltering. Had a perfect nights sleep. The staff were amazing and extremely friendly both at the reception and in the restaurant. We had both and evening meal and breakfast the food was lovely, hot and well prepared. "Las primeras semanas de una estancia larga me dieron una habitación “normal”, muy cómoda, limpia y confortable. En el momento que el hotel tuvo un aforo elevado me cambiaron a una habitación antigua, con una moqueta que distaba mucho de “limpia” y una cama que no solo no es cómoda si no que te rompe la espalda. A mayores, pago un desayuno que me cobran a 18 €/día y un café cappucino no está incluido. Esta claro que están realizando una mala gestión por parte de alguien."

"One night stay was good for what we needed just very dusty , cobwebs everywhere , dust in the air vent in the bathroom , cracks and screws hanging out. Would stay again as the room is adequate just needs abit of a clean. "

"My daughter and I stayed at Twin Oaks for the weekend and had a really lovely stay. The breakfast was delicious and all the staff there were really friendly and helpful. The housekeeper was also very respectful and accommodating. Beds were also very comfy! Thank you"

"Gorgeous cottage! Really comfortable beds! Excellent breakfast ! Couldn’t have been any better … flawless from booking until check out ! "

"I stayed there because I had to visit some customers really close. It seems like this place it's more for weddinds or other celebrations than for staying in. The service was not helpful at all. Breakfast it's included but there was a team of people just chatting and nobody came to explain what could I order. I had to go and ask and they were not kind at all. I won't definitely come back."

"We had a wonderful stay at The View. The room was lovely, very spacious and overlooked the rolling hills, plus it was quiet. The staff were very friendly and attentive and breakfast was delicious and all cooked and prepared to order. We had one evening meal at the pub itself which again, we couldn’t fault. There is so much to do around the area and we will definitely be going back. A true gem of a find!"

"We stayed here for 1 night whilst touring the peak district on our motorbikes. Plenty of parking and security cameras to ensure a good night's sleep. Our room was very comfortable and decorated to a high standard. The shower was big with great water pressure. We had an evening meal which we would rate as excellent, plenty of very friendly staff and a short wait for our food. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and varied. We tried the Porky Hash which was huge! We would definitely...

"Had a lovely stay for our wedding anniversary. Would highly recommend, staff were all lovely, polite and friendly. Service and food were excellent in the restaurant area. All of the hotel was clean and well kept. The bedroom we had was on the first floor overlooking the garden, very comfortable bed. Good soundproofing, we couldn’t hear anything from the other rooms. Location was good for Chatsworth and Bakewell. Would definitely stay there again "

"Great pub, exceptionally clean, comfortable and modern rooms and super friendly staff. As a bonus, the food is of a very high standard and the Guinness was decent. Can’t fault this place in any way, stopped here to be in the area for the snooker at the Crucible in Sheffield, it was a 20 minute taxi ride from here to Sheffield Town Centre. As Arnie said….. I’ll be back 😂"
