"We stayed for a week over Christmas. The room was clean, comfy and fairly modern. The staff were amazing; helpful and respectful every time we spoke to them. The breakfast was good; selection of cereals, yogurts, fruit and pastries for a light breakfast. Sausage, bacon, scrambled egg and beans if you wanted something hot. Overall, excellent value for money!"

"This property is ideally placed to visit Grassington and walks around the area. It is clean, well appointed and first class en suite bathroom facilities. The down side is that there are a lot of rooms and a number of the occupants came into this venue later into the night. The doors are vintage as are the locks etc, so we found it a bit noisy and had a disturbed sleep. "

"This hotel was easy to find. When we arrived the staff were amazing and helpful. We had one problem with the room because it didn’t have enough beds, however the hotel manager was so helpful and sorted it out straight away. The food was nice and most importantly the beer was amazing!"

"Such a beautiful spot to have a pub/ hotel. The staff are friendly and polite and the food delicious. My only dislike was that even though we didn’t have a dog with us. Our room had clearly been used by someone who had a dog with them previously. The rooms could do with a paint in places and there were some huge cobwebs on the ceiling. We were greeted on arrival with a used earplug on the floor. The rooms just need a bit of TLC and a good thorough top to bottom clean especially if you are...

"I was not impressed being ‘ejected’ , as a resident at the hotel, at 11pm on a Saturday night. As a hotel resident, every where else I have stayed I could get a drink. On this occasion there were probably 15 hotel guests in the bar but we were all evicted. I will not be staying there again."

"With so much to do and see in the Yorkshire dales, the Plough Inn is the perfect location. Very friendly and helpful staff escorting us to the room and making sure we were comfortable. Friendly bar staff providing a good selection of wines, beers and spirits at sensible prices. The restaurant menu is perfect. "We stayed in the Linwood Suite for 1 night. The room was spacious, luxurious and comfortable. The breakfast was of a high quality. The room is immediately above the function area and noise travels easily (there was a wedding reception) - we weren't warned about this previously but it was not a problem as we went out to dinner and the noise quietened down before midnight. Unfortunately the experience was ruined by loud noise in the room. It was a mechanical noise which sounded like a generator...
