"Staff were very friendly and check-in/out was smooth. Beds were a bit small for two people (doubles) but clean and comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. The shower is an over-bath type but is powerful and you get a great shower. Although the rooms are large, they are very dated and showing their age. If they were to be given a makeover they would be excellent rooms. The bar are is welcoming and the food looked really good."

Gorgeous character inn with comfortable bedroom and plenty of peace and quiet. Right in the middle of what I described as the prettiest town centre in the UK"
