"Our stay was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Before arrival, I requested a bouquet of flowers and some balloons to be arranged in our room, and it was beautifully set up just as we hoped. The room itself was lovely, we stayed in a castle valley view room. Waking up to a breathtaking sunrise made it even more memorable. "Room was very nice and modern with a great view of the sea. Bed was comfortable but was 2 singles stuck together and not a king size. Was a bit upset that the hotel nether got back to my email saying it was our wedding night and could they do something to mark the occasion in our room, but no answer or any surprises. Was also shocked that parking was £15 a night, even though it was November and there is plenty about if you look around. Last little moan was the quality of breakfast, stay away...

"The hotel was good. The main downside was the dimness of the lighting in the room. We are bright light people and found it quite gloomy. Perhaps have the main light on a dimmer switch?"

"Good hotel in a central location. Nicely themed to the 1920’s. The lack of parking facilities means a walk to the nearest parking if travelling by car. The most disappointing part of our stay was the service at breakfast. Part buffet style but lots of items not available and had to ask for basics to be replenished - orange juice, milk, bread, and no tomato ketchup both mornings!! How difficult is it to get ketchup??? "

"El hotel se encuentra en una ubicación privilegiada dentro de Exeter, a 5min andando tanto del centro como del muelle ("quay"). El edificio, un antiguo hospital, es realmente bonito por fuera y muy cuidado por dentro. El personal muy agradable, y el desayuno increíble, con servicio de cocina aparte del buffet. Como pega, el tamaño de las habitaciones "individuales", verdaderamente pequeñas, aunque acogedoras."

From the day we arrived sat 2nd nov the staff we so helpful on reception and very easy to locate our room . The Spa was fantastic! 5* from all the different spa rooms to our facials on the sunday ,this was also very , very relaxing. "Calor insoportable y habitación sin aire acondicionado. El aire solo en la recepción. El baño da pena, Todo descascarillado. Las paredes de separación de las habitaciones son de papel de fumar. Si tienes la mala suerte de tener vecinos ruidosos imposible dormir. Ese fue nuestro caso. Ni la intervención de la recepción a las 2 de la mañana les calló. El desayuno es el menos apetecible que he tomado nunca en un hotel de 4 estrellas. No había ni fruta, eso si, huevos y bacon a tutiplén. Zumo de...
