"Nanuku is a rare gem. It is a gated resort so it feels completely removed from the rest of the world. Also, as a single female traveler, it made me feel so safe to walk along the paths and beach after dark knowing that no one could enter the property without a reason. The room was beautiful. They have been refurbishing many of the rooms and I was in one of the newer ones. It was modern and I really appreciated having my own refigerator and a microwave. The best part of Nanuku is their staff!!...

"My wife and I ventured to Sau Bay around the 20th of June, shortly after it opened. At a high level, we give the place 6 out of 5 stars! "We enjoyed the island, it was beautiful. The food was good and plentiful but got fed the same things over and over. We knew what to expect from a homestay but we found that there was nothing to do except snorkle without paying for activity fees. So bring lots of cash! We expected to be asked for school donation and we did, but was not ok with being asked for donating to their family directly.
