"This was a perfect place to stay and just what we were looking for. Away from the business. Only saw two people walk by whole week. Andrew was great and met us at car rental place and stopped at liquor and grocery stores on our way out. We for most part stayed on property and in that area. Place was just as advertised. Very up to date. Didn’t want for anything. Thanks for a great stay!"

"House was as described and photos are a good representation of the property. Very remote on the East End of Grand Bahama. We visited during hurricane season and knew that weather might not be the best, but enjoyed our time very much. Rarely saw other people on the beaches (which we loved!) and felt ‘at home.’ Danny, the caretaker, was attentive and offered many options, checking in with us periodically to see if we needed anything. "The stay at Mrs. Doris' Ocean Pearl was wonderful. The cable was out in the room and the water went out the first day, but those were both beyond the hotel's control. Mrs. Doris was absolutely wonderful and was extremely accommodating. This is the perfect destination for those looking to get away from the world and slow down. Go visit Bishop next door and be sure to order the Crack Conch Dinner in the Ocean Peal kitchen."
