"We stayed at the cabin for three nights with our two boys and they loved it. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful hills and a pound at the bottom of the hill. We took a walk every morning and we cooked fresh food every day. Inside the cabin was clean and comfortable. It was close to the Ark too. "

"My husband and I took 3 of our granddaughters to the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. We stayed at this cute cottage out in the country. Each morning before we left for the Ark/Museum we spent time enjoying the beautiful property. Each evening when we returned we once again enjoyed the beautiful outdoors. "The only down side of the place is how loud the A/C unit was. You should put some non-skid stuff on the bathroom carpet in front of the bathroom sink. We had a guy that turned 82 while we were there, and when he leaned his backside against the sink, the carpet slid out from under him. He cut his arm on the vanity going down. Everything else was excellent. Very convenient to a variety of eating places. "

The house is a little on a curve so not remote. I missed where the list of closing up was (on the fridge) but that was because I never used it. "Amazing! Surrounded by nature- a small creek right outside the back door. Cabin is charmingly rustic & authentic. The smell of the logs, antique furnishings & decor, authentic lean to bath house with clawfoot tub and propane heated water. You will fall in love with the nostalgia and charm. "If is a very beautiful area and the house was very nice. It is kind of hard to find and I would suggest arriving in the daytime rather than at night. Also if you are elderly or have any difficulties walking the driveway is very steep and it is also a very steep decline to the water. If you are younger it is fine, but we had a couple people that could not get down to the water because it was too difficult for them."
