"Don’t do it to your family. Old decrepit unit. The only good thing is location. The agent communicated well. But when we complained about numerous issues, all we got was an apology. No refunds, no real substance, just sorry. Place was flooded from the rain though the windows that don’t close. Doors falling off. Dirty couches, the list goes on…"

"Very noisy throughout our stay. Doors banging , furniture moving around in units above , people speaking loudly made it difficult to fall asleep , running up and down the stairs. Unit was clean and spacious but the bed linen needs to be replaced..very old. Hats off to the staff member who checked our unit on departure...I left behind a few pieces of jewelry and she was honest enough to hand it over to me. Scenery excellent. "

"The property was clean and tidy, I think it was very nice when they did it but now looking like it could do with a face lift! The swimming pools were old and didn't look very clean either! Very few activities offered to adults staying in there. The bar an restaurant area could host a few evening events and liven up the place a bit! In general the area has nothing cultural to do!"

"I always go to lake view however the condition of this particular unit was terrible The kitchen drawers was in a bad state where there were ants and cockroaches to a degree where the pots and pans needed to be washed before use No upgrades to this unit making me think twice to book again. Got pics and videos There are no coasters, I made my own out of a pizza box I always respect other people’s property as if it was my own Staff however extremely friendly "

"I have requested a quiet corner room while making the booking and upon checking in on arrival i was told to pay an extra R200 for the quiet room which i did pay to my surprise the following day I was asked again to pay an extra R200 ... which i did pay as i did not want to move to an other room...I really feel so disgusted about how people can be so so greedy when it comes to money that we will leave behind when dead...the place was even too noisy with the occupants upstairs."

"Just want to thank all the staff at the Casa Ridge for making our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The rooms have everything you would need and the décor is beautiful I left my passport, which I needed for a flight back from Pietermaritzburg at Casa Ridge and they went out of their way to get the passport to me so that I could catch my flight. "We absolutely loved Santa Lucia Wilds and the owners were wonderful hosts making you feel at home and providing all sorts of useful tips about the area. Our unit was very comfortable, spacious (living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom) and very well equipped. Comfortable beds and a quiet environment for a good nights sleep.
