"This beautiful, historic Victorian home was an absolute find. We got very lucky booking it at the last minute to attend the Tulip Time Festival in Pella since it is fairly new to VRBO. Jeff, who is the owner/operator, was the best host we’ve had with VRBO. He was super friendly and made us feel comfortable to use all the common areas of the house. "This place was so cute and cozy. The gardens and fire pit were amazing! It's location perfect; right off campus and within walking distance to anyplace on campus. Stairs leading up to second level are a bit steep but nothing a healthy knee can't handle.If you are there in the summer, be sure to cross the street and buy some of the fresh corn. It's amazing!We will definitely be staying again!"

"This schoolhouse is SUCH a special place. The classrooms have been lovingly restored. The owners have included delightful touches throughout -- lockers in the bathroom, former teachers' names on the doors, chalkboards and chalk, pull-down maps (from 1949!), and so much more. We appreciated all the care that went into making us comfortable during our stay, from a basket of snacks to chilled water in the fridge to detailed instructions about how to operate the TV. We will be back again and again...
