"A fascinating property with a history. Fabulous views of the chateau from the bedroom windows and from the courtyard. Right in the centre of Saumur, but had a large heated indoor swimming pool. The extra treat was the pool table and pinball machine. It was easy enough to reverse the cars into the courtyard with practice. It was lovely and convenient for restaurants, the chateau and the bakery. Gilles, our host was at the end of a phone if we needed him. Nicole the housekeeper made us welcome...

"Buena opción para visitar la región en familia pues cuenta con instalaciones pensadas para los niños. Muy buen equipamiento del apartamento. Amabilidad del personal. Tranquilidad en el recinto al estar prohibida la circulación de los coches y, realmente, con los carritos no cuesta nada acercar el equipaje hasta las habitaciones. Único punto negativo es la obligatoriedad de contar con coche pues está un poco alejado de Saumur."

"Owners/hosts made us very welcome and on hand to help when required. Cottage was ideal for what we were looking for - self contained, quiet, private, secure parking and great base for cycling both sides of the Loire and very quiet back roads. Very large garden space front and back was a bonus. All made it an excellent weeks stay. "

"Bonne communication avec l'hôte pour une arrivée en autonomie. Le logement est propre et son emplacement est un vrai point fort: proche du château,de la gare et des commerces, tout est accessible à pieds. Le lave linge est un plus appréciable.Le point negatif est le couchage soi disant pour 2 dans le canapé du salon:il est trop dur et trop petit en longueur et en largeur. Mon compagnon et moi y avons très très mal dormis,obligeant l'un de nous à dormir par terre...Un comble quand on paye une...

"Wir haben schon etliche Häuser in Frankreich gemietet. Das Haus von Glyn und John gehört zu den besten. Alles klappte hervorragend. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet mit modernem Charme. Ein richtiges Zuhause! Zum Willkommen stand ein Korb mit Produkten aus der Gegend parat. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet.
