"I’d give 10 stars if I could! We had the most wonderful two week stay here. It is a beautiful house in a perfect location. The house had everything we needed and has plenty of space for human guests and for our dogs, they loved it just as much as we did. "First of all, the lodge is exactly as portrayed in the pictures. We absolutely loved our 8 day stay in in this remote and quiet countryside. Lough Carra was beautiful, and we had sheep out front and dairy cows in the back. Beautifully landscaped as well. The caretakers, Jim and Mary were exceptional. We were told to contact Karen but no phone number left asking local neighbours did they now any phone numbers and one neighbour new the cleaner and she gave us the code to access the property. For the 4 days we were there nobody contacted us or check if we were even there So check in procedure very poor when you’ve been travelling 13hours"

We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo."

"This place was awesome! Loved the dark and moody vibes. Everyone having their own bathroom was quite lovely. The walkability to the main streets was perfect. Space to park cars was very helpful. The place was awesome for 6 people (definitely could have fit more!) and the host was very quick to respond. Highly recommend!"

"The big pros of this place are location and size! A once in a lifetime trip with adult children/spouses and this space was large enough for the 7 of us and it is close enough to walk to public transit around Ireland. Easy to communicate with and check in/check out easy. Part of our group ended up delayed by a day but part of us made it and check in and communication was everything! Please note that by American standards the bathrooms/showers are small but there are enough that the space works...
