"We had a lovely restful week in this well-appointed cabin in the woods. The walls, floors, and even the ceilings are made of wood all assembled by a ream of excellent carpenters. The kitchen is highly functional and well-outfitted. The stove works very well. The living areas are very comfortable as are the bedrooms. We enjoyed the wood stove. "This is a spacious house in a beautiful location right on the shore of Lake Champlain. There is limited access right behind the house where we were able to take pictures of the comet and gorgeous sunsets. There are many books to be read and a variety to choose from. "Place was clean. Had a small musty wet smell but to be expected in a basement apartment. Needed a couple more towels for a weekend stay for 2 should have atleast 4 towels. Other than that it was good overall! Reasonable prices! "

"We stayed at this lake house for a weekend away from our daily busy lives. This home was so relaxing and had the most incredible views. We enjoyed the outdoors with fishing off the dock and the cool evenings by the fireplace. The host was very responsive and communicated with the us throughout our stay whenever we had questions. We will be back here again with our family. Truly a wonderful experience."

"I drove up to the Burlington area (from Frederick MD) for a 3-day reunion of a group of us who had served as Peace Corps Volunteers or staff 30 years ago in Morocco from 1991-1993. "Was such a great stay. The first overnight stay for my puppy and he loved it too. Was a beautiful sunset across Lake Champlain. Watching the sun hit the lake from behind in the morning with coffee from the deck is something that is hard to forget. "

"Though the house was nice and pretty much what we expected, there was no information about staying there. We couldn't figure out how to get the tv to cable or to hook up the DVD player so we could use it. We didn't put the trash out to be collected because we didn't know when they were coming. "Overall a very nice space, comfortable and clean. I would stay there again. Only complaint was being accused of having a pet there because the cleaning person found a shirt with hair on it. I was sent an invoice immediately for an extra cleaning fee without even asking first. We were a work crew in the area only staying there to eat and sleep, definitely no space for pets. We did get this cleared up and they said I didn't have to pay the fee."
