"We have just arrived back home from the most amazing stay at St Hilda's. We stayed in the Cairo room and the pictures do not do it justice it was just beautiful, the attention to detail is amazing. "The Spa Hotel sits just above the gorgeous coastline with an easy path down to the seaside. It is a slightly steep hill up to the town center, but that's easily walkable. The restaurant was excellent and everyone so kind and friendly. I saw the most spectacular sunrise and sunset at the property. You can't help but fall in love with the Hotel and it's natural beauty in the seaside surroundings."

"I am a regular at the Captain Cook Inn. It has an unique ambience which refects Staithes village itself. Bed extremely comfortable but the duvet was a higher tog than the heatwave needed."

"The hosts, Andy and Ann are very friendly and approachable and ready to sort out any issues. I enjoyed the full English breakfast every morning which was cooked to order and a self service area for tea, coffee, toast etc. Since my last visit a couple of years ago the Wi-Fi has been much improved and the small TV has been replaced with a 40" smart TV. The grounds are always well kept. The only downside was using Expedia for the first time. They told me my room was booked but Saltburn House...

"El personal super calido y amable, en especial la chica que tienen en los desayunos, te hace sentir bienvenido y cuidado, solo que a mucho personal le hace falta su gafete con su nombre, lo cual es una pena y no se pueden identificar bien. Los cuartos son espaciosos y las camas son realmente cómodas, pero es decepcionante la limpieza, la tina estaba extremadamente sucia, en especial el desagüe, no es agradable bañarse en un lugar así. "Great hotel, I've stayed before and I commented that it needed a little bit of work, well, they are doing a lot of work on the rooms. Ours had a fantastic new bathroom. Food was great as usual. Will be back again sometime. Thank you : )"
