"La maison de Velda est spacieuse, très bien équipée et très propre. La vue d'une des chambres et de la terrasse est magnifique. Quel plaisir de prendre le petit déjeuner face à la mer et que dire du coucher de soleil!Les habitants du village sont très sympathiques. Il y a de petits magasins qui peuvent rendre service.Velda et son mari sont très gentils, leur accueil a été cordial et leur suggestion de restaurant était judicieuse. Nous avons passé un bon séjour..... avons orofité"

"Ein sagenhaft guter Ort zum abschalten, entspannen, genießen. Der Service ist überragend. Das Essen ausgerechnet. Preise für Essen und Trinken jedoch etwas überhöht. Das schmälert jedoch keinesfalls die Gesamtzufriedenheit! 5 Sterne sind verdient. Danke an das ganze Team und im speziellen Keldon für den Service in der Villa. "

"A great place to stay. We just had a single night there before flying out of Dominica, but it was perfect. Nigel was very helpful and his dog Spice was gorgeous! We had a relaxing couple of beers and then some good food before an early night (as it was an early flight to Barbados)."

"We stayed one night as it was close to the airport and we knew we’d be arriving in the dark. The hostess and her family were so lovely and welcoming. We arrived later than expected and though we had not reserved a dinner meal the hostess graciously made us some sandwiches. The breakfast was delicious. We would stay here again in a heart beat. This place is a gem."

"Excellent stay: rooms are clean and comfortable. A/C worked great, shower was awesome and surrounding views are beautiful. Great restaurants in town as well as small grocery store and ATM. Property manager was polite, courteous and helpful (he met us at the property). He had the hottub waiting for us nice and hot!"

"I totally enjoyed my stay at Mangoes. The owner was very accommodating, pleasant and very customer oriented. My trip was a business trip, it is 25mins to Roseau but after a hectic day at the office Mangoes was ideal for relaxing. There are lots of mosquitoes but that is expected with the location but a huge net covers the bed and I had lots of bug spray. There is not much to do in St Joseph so having a vehicle is recommended unless you are happy remaining on the compound. If I ever return, this...
