"My friend and I stayed here for four nights. The guest house is nice, clean and meets needs all the basic needs. No extravagant luxury, however what makes this place truly amazing is: - We were welcomed by the friendly hosts and had the feeling of being their private guests in their own home. "Deva the caretaker made the difference. He was fantastic. A very caring man. The owner Dinesh and his wife very responsive and we felt so comfortable going forth our chosen residence in Colombo. We have stayed at the Hilton, Cinnamon Grand, Kingsbury , Cinnamon Lake etc. but this is the place to stay. 10/10"

"I can’t recommend this place enough! Great communication with Eric all the way through, we came a bit late, and before we could order our meals over email and it was ready. Great WiFi! Evening watching fireflies in the dark. The food both breakfast and dinner was delicious. Eric also helped book our safari trip witch was terrific!"

"Love the place, love the area, and love most of the services there. Just one issue: the swimming pool night party; as a professional, not being able to sleep until the game on tv has ended is wrong. I was on the third floor (so, just perfect to get a full blast of the sound) and I had to delay my sleep for nearly two hours… I understand the idea of the swimming pool party but then sound proof the rooms better…"

Extraordinario

"Extraordinario. La suit es muy grande con 3 habitaciones completas, salon, comedor y cocina. Comodisimo. Ubicacion ideal a 10 min andando del templo budista mas bonito de colombo. Lo elegimos como broche final a nuestro viaje a Sry Lanka y ha sido un acierto"

"The hotel was great, we especially loved the roof-top with the pool, jacuzzis, bars and gym. It felt like an oasis in the middle of the big city. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast buffet was incredible. The only downside is the area; even though the hotel is by the sea, there's a lot of traffic and not appealing to take a walk."

"Es un hotel clásico donde se hospedaban todas las celebridades del pasado. No creo que lo hagan ahora… El edificio conserva la grandeza de antaño, pero su estado de conservación deja mucho que desear. En los baños no hay ni siquiera toalla para las manos. El desayuno, sin embargo, es francamente bueno. Hay una terraza con música alta hasta la medianoche, así que hay que los que quieran tranquilidad que pidan habitación interior: menos vistas y menos ruido."
