"We stayed at so many places but this is one of the most beautiful homes we visited! The views are incredible seen the eagles caught there fish, and the deck is really spacious and the house is so lovely and beautiful decorated, it gives you a home feeling while you are on vacation. There is a lot to do on the island. And the owners are so nice and we thank them for the hospitality! We will definitely come back. "

"The "cabin" is a beautiful small house that looks like it was built very recently. Lots of natural light, a big kitchen, and a very private feeling covered patio with a gas fireplace. The loft works ok for sleeping but the ceiling is low up there and it would be greatly improved with some curtains to block the early morning sun - and maybe some privacy curtains as well to separate that space from the rest of the house. "This is an absolute beautiful spot on the river. Our 3 night stay was wonderful especially the bear watching as well as all the other birds and fish visible from your living room windows. The first day we had a mother bear and 3 cubs come down to the other side of the river to eat some salmon that were swimming in the water. "This a is well managed property, with 12 acres of grounds. We had a comfortable bedroom, kitchen, washroom and living room on a walkout lot. A great mix of forrest and cleared areas right on the property, including a pond. Lots of privacy. Driving distance to groceries, ferry, and hiking trails on Quadra. The owners are very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend staying here. "
