"EVERYTHING as described and more. Place was so clean you'd of thought we were the first guests. Hosts were very accessible via text during our stay. The construction of this tree house is amazing and detailed. The ability to sit at a fire even during rain was a plus and complete with barn owls calling in the distance at night. Minutes away from a small town with a great breakfast diner, but completely secluded in the woods. We just can't say enough about how cool this place is."

"The location and house are great! Only down side to the property is a rock wall that is between the house and lake that makes it harder to access in the winter. Overall, extremely clean inside and I will definitely be coming back!"

"Awesome piece of property with great view of the stars and a jacuzzi to enjoy them in. Small fire pit in the back for s’mores. Great game room for some late night competitions. Would recommend."

"This was a fantastic property and Joel has thought trough everything to make it a fantastic set up. We commented as we left that he must have watched videos or read the book on how to create a great VRBO. Good stuff:1. He's very quick on communication and answered a bunch of questions;2. Very easy to check in with a code on the front door. Lights were on and there was a garage door opener on the front table, which allowed me to pull the van into the garage and unload. "We loved our time here! The house was very clean and had a lot of room. The neighborhood was very sketchy but we knew that from the reviews ahead of time so it did not bother us. "

"We had a wonderful time joining family and staying in this cozy home for a few days. Prior to check-in, the owner gave us more specific, helpful directions as to the exact location. Walking distance to the lake, firepit available for use near shore, chairs to use outside, and a porch with outside seating was very handy. We had plans within Syracuse for one day and stayed at the house another. Plenty of games available. We will definitely consider staying here again. Small suggestions to improve...

"This was a great stay. The home was very clean and cozy. The weather was very cold, but as soon as we walked into the home we warmed right up. The beds were comfortable, and the linen was very clean. The parking was a private driveway which was great to be able to park off the street. We would highly suggest staying here. "

"Visiting Oneida and enjoyed a long weekend at the house. Was traveling with my husband, 2 adult children and a friend. The house was clean and has all the amenities that we needed. We enjoyed using the kayaks and hanging by the lake. The location was convenient and nice restaurants near by."

"This is our second year coming to this property for our winter family meetup and we love it! It has a great living area for our group of 8 people (4 adults, 4 teens). It’s comfortable, clean, and well situated. Highly recommend."

"House was perfect for our needs -- a long parents weekend visit to Colgate. Not exactly Colgate adjacent, but convenient to the airport, Syracuse and right on Lake Oneida and 30 min to Colgate. Just down the road from Verona Beach State Park and it's possible to keep walking to Sylvan Beach -- and with perfect fall weather it was an amazing walk. House was great to cook in and made for a fine remote work location. I only wish we'd made better use of the she shed /man cave b/c it is an awesome...

Between the gorgeous view, the comprehensively stocked kitchen, and the beautiful and even quirky decorating style, this one is at the top of our list. And to top it off Heather was a joy to deal with. Our schedule caused us to make multiple booking changes, and she had no issue with accommodating us. This is now our go-to in Syracuse. "

"Great clean place near the beach with the benefit of privacy. Unfortunately, the dock was damaged before we arrived due to a storm. If this is what you are looking for be sure to check with owner if dock was repaired."
