I booked Jodi’s place as it was one of the only places I could find in the area for a 4th of July weekend stay. It was a big old farmhouse and looked like it would work well for we two couples with children. My sister in law arrived at the house first and texted me, “Whoa! I LOVE this house!!” My husband and I were equally impressed. It’s so much cuter and better than the pictures! So many antique and original details in the house… so many unexpected little cute nooks and extra rooms. The kids ran through it squealing with delight. I was so happy to find such quality pans, large stainless steel bowls, sharp cutting knives, even a dozen eggs and real butter and fresh cinnamon rolls waiting for us! A huge farmhouse table, soft bath towels, plenty of beds for our group, a washer and dryer we were able to throw our wet swim clothes in and a gorgeous lawn with mature trees and lots of fun places for the kids to run around! The stay was just delightful and we were all talking about booking it again for our next trip to the area! If you have a group, you can’t go wrong with this place! There didn’t seem to be air conditioning upstairs but we opened the windows and were all very comfortable. But I’m not sure how it is on unusually hot days. I’ve stayed lots of places and this is definitely a top favorite!
