"I know a lot of the reviews have been negative but this lodge is just a simple, comfortable motel. The rooms haven’t been renovated so they’re a little run down but almost everything was spotless and the linens were clean. I’d say just some of the corners were a bit dusty and there were some hard water stains in the sink. The mattresses are a little saggy but were still decently comfortable. We stayed for a night to catch an early kayak tour out of Seward and it was a good deal. Most other...

"Cute basic, clean log cabin. Simple but very cozy and comfortable. Coffee maker, microware and small refrigerator and mugs provided. Next to a small creek. 40 min from Seward. "

"Rooms are rustic and quaint, but not quiet. Could hear conversations and all the sounds from next door as if they were above us. The surrounding area is beautiful. The food is good, but expensive. Staff was mostly kind- a few seemed ready for the tourist season to be over. Would try another Princess property. "

"This was a cabin for 4 adults for a fishing trip. It was everything needed to fish hard all day and come back to camp and relax. There is running water and a shower with toilet. A microwave and a mini fridge is also in the room with two double beds. The coffee maker was a welcome addition for the next morning. "We were blown away with this clean, well stocked house. Everything was perfect and easy. We are warm and comfortable as we cooked and recovered from our outings and enjoyed the easy walks by the lake. Laundry, hot tub, grill… we used them all and carried the bear spray on our walks.
