"Room was small but very tidy, it had everything we needed. Bed wasn’t the comfiest but ok for one night. The view was amazing, high over other houses the countryside stretched for miles. Don’t book if you don’t like heights. Unfortunately there was something making a noise all night (heating, A/C, water) I don’t know what but it sounded like a heart beat all night long and kept me awake. Check in was super easy, the bar/ restaurant was clean and friendly. The breakfast was really good the staff...

"Stayed here for a couple of nights over a long weekend and was very impressed. The rooms are very nice, clean and well decorated, accessed via a small flight of stairs around the back, away from any noise of the pub main building. Plenty of guest car parking, very good food and drinks at decent prices and friendly helpful staff. would stay here again and recommend to others. Excellent choice form the breakfast menu and it was all good."

Had a lot of trouble to make it to Devon from London and the owners helped me through all the process, giving me information about check-in and check-out dates and how to cancel the first night when I couldn't make it there at time. The room is spacious, the bed is very comfortable, and breakfasts are tasty. I felt at home all the time, especially with how lovely the landlady is! Eternally thankful to her and to her caring, I will return to beautiful Devon as...

"Very welcoming farming couple who go out their way to make sure everything is OK. Fantastic wholesome farmhouse meals provided. Location is very remote and strongly recommend asking if you can view the old waterwheel during your stay (you'll need a torch!)"

"Had a steak in the evening it was lovely, I wasn't very impressed with the breakfast, no brown bread offered sourdough, but it just looked like a chunk of white bread, didn't eat. sausages were burnt, mushrooms, tomato and egg was nice. "
