Beach vacation
My family and I stayed at Dell Tush’s apartment for a week. It was lovely and steps away from the gorgeous ocean! The best part was that we were able to bring our puppy who turned one on our vacation!

Prime location in Dewey Beach
My husband and I rented for a few days for a beach getaway. We chose this property for its proximity to the beach (literally less than a minute walk) and it was dog friendly. The fenced in backyard was huge, but had a lot of stuff scattered around so you'll want to keep a close eye on your dog if you let them off their leash to make sure they don't go snooping in something they shouldn't. There was also a standing water feature, which meant lots of mosquitos - be sure to take bug spray if you want to enjoy the space! While they weren't an issue for us, the stairs leading in/out of the 2nd floor were a little steep and could be problematic for some (older dogs with hip problems would struggle). The living space was fine, and the kitchen was stocked with most basics you would need if you choose to cook (pots, pans, plates, cutlery, etc.). The two bedrooms are pretty small and there wasn't much space besides the bed and a dresser - wasn't a problem for us though since we spent most of our time outside! All in all, would consider returning to this property again in the future.

Nice seaside retreat
We stayed in apartment B with our pups. The unit was up a flight of narrow stairs. Overall, the location was great and has ample parking for guests who may need to purchase day passes. The beach entry point was not overly crowded, which was nice. Everything was clean inside and the people were very nice- they have an on-site unit. The unit could use some updates as it is becoming worn and outdated. The common area is large and fenced, but cluttered; All that said, would stay again.

Can’t beat the location
Perfect for 2-4 people but challenging for more as there isn’t a lot of space to move around. Has everything you need to cook and eat in, but is walking distance to restaurants (and everything else) in Dewey. The sofa bed mattress is very thin so we put sheets on the sofa cushions and my daughter slept with it in couch form. Upon leaving after an enjoyable week, I spoke with Larry and pointed out some things that he may want to check out (broken box spring and bad mattress, burned out bulbs,). He was very receptive to the comments which I hope will make it a little more comfortable for future renters. If you rent unit B, know that you must turn off both bedroom window AC units before using a hair dryer or other hair appliance, otherwise the breaker gets tripped and you have to go in the common hall to reset it. If you have problems with stairs, unit B is not for you since you have to walk up a full flight to access it. The location could not have been much better…just a few houses from the beach!

Perfect Location!
This is a cute little apartment in the most perfect location. It was great for me, my husband, our two small children, and our dog. We could easily go to and from the beach in just a few minutes, which was great with small children. It was just enough space for us to spend a much needed week away. Thank you!

Wedding anniversary retreat
Dell was phenonmenal to work with for our 40th Anniversary weekend that came together at the last minute. We enjoyed our stay at her apartment. It was perfect for the two of us and our fur baby. We were steps to the beach. Walking distance to restaraunts, etc. We did sunrise on the beach and sunset at the bay. Both easy walks. We were able to have am coffee while watching the ocean from the dining table. Awesome and much needed down time! Thank you!

Clean, comfortable, quiet, close to beach!
My wife and I had a great experience staying here with our dog over a weekend. The location can’t be beat, and we were on the beach within seconds of leaving the apartment. The apartment itself is clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was also surprisingly quiet (we only heard the neighbors when they were coming and going). The owner was very responsive, accommodating, and great to work with. Thanks for a great weekend at Dewey!

Cute apartment steps from the beach
Nice property for a family of four or two couples. The back yard is spacious and has plenty of seating, easily rearranged to maintain social distance for the occupants of multiple units. We like Rodney Ave: far enough from the bars and venues if you want some quiet, but still only a few blocks walk for easy access to the “action,” if that’s your thing.

The location was great— literally steps from the beach, and we could see the ocean from the kitchen table, which was a plus, too. We also got to meet and talk to Larry, one of the owners, and he was just great. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. I’ve already recommended it to a friend.

We had a great get away at Dell’s place! She was so helpful and responsive. The location is wonderful with a short walk to the beach. It was a quiet area too. The sunrise over the ocean comes right into the apartment windows and was beautiful. Would recommend!!

Del & Larry were wonderful hosts!
Easy check-in and great communication. Location is ideal and only 4 houses from the beach! The weather was very hot, so we spent more time inside than out and were very comfortable. There were 4 adults and 1 infant in our party and were very comfortable. Looking forward to another stay here!

Great!!
We stayed for a short weekend while we were down in Maryland. Location was perfect - beach is just to the right so we could take the pups - and the apartment is clean and cozy. Our hosts were right downstairs and greeted us upon arrival. It was a short, but very pleasant weekend.

Amazing location
The apartment was everything my friends and I needed. We loved the easy check-in, the back yard grill area, and, above all, the LOCATION. It's practically on the beach, and walkable to anywhere in Dewey you'd want to go. Highly recommend - we plan to come back next year!
