I grew up in Dillon and my father, who lives nearby, knew the family who owned it decades ago. It was fun to stay there and look at all the details in the woodwork, windows, etc., although we didn't have a lot of time to spend in the home.
My old kindergarten and first-grade school is a block away from the home and it was fun to see it being renovated for commercial and residential use. It was very hot outside but the home stayed cool enough with the bedroom ceiling fan on, and the front porch was so nice for morning coffee!
