"We stayed 2 weeks in July, the weather was just perfect, not too hot and always sunny. The view of the marina is great, from the terrace and the pool. There is a barbecue (a bit small but fine as the food in Sicily is great and generally cheap, son not need too much of it) The house is modern, completely refurbished recently, very comfortable. "I had been looking at several villas in the area, but when I saw this one, I knew it was the one I wanted, however in the Vrbo brochure it says it is a short walk to the church, but it is a 15 minute drive, apart from that it looked good. On arrival I was greeted by Salvo who was lovely, his English was not great, but I am trying to learn Italian so it was good practice for me. The villa was even better than it looked. "Nous avons passé 17 jours chez Michele et Angela qui sont vraiment très accueillants et facilitent toutes les démarches et tracas. Michele vous fera découvrir son huile d'olive, les figues de Barbarie toutes préparées etc. Le logement est bien situé et permet de visiter la région facilement, bien entretenu avec évidemment la piscine qui est appréciable pour se rafraîchir. You need a car as there is nothing within walking distance and the bigger towns are at least 45 min drive but easy to access as are the lovely beaches with their fish restaurants.
