"I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though"

"Lovely B & B. Nicole & Matt are wonderful. Perfect for quiet peaceful weekend getaway. House is over 200 years old so the floors are little wonky angled. About a 20-30 minute drive either way to Acadia Nat’l Park. A few local restaurants within 10 min drive. You should notify them of any food allergies ahead of time as breakfast is just one option- what Nicole cooks 😊. Its lovely but if you are not an egg or gluten person you’d have issues. "My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh...

"Chose glamping as a fun alternative to a hotel when in town for a concert. My daughter and her friends loved it (they are campers so en suite bathroom with screen did not bother them). Tent beds were so clean and comfy! We had rain, but cooked a big brunch in the outdoor kitchen. Hosts were wonderful and we had a great time! Would highly recommend!"

"This was such an amazing stay, I highly recommend it. Check in was very easy and straight forward. The bathroom was right next to the shed and was very clean inside. We had a bit of a problem with the power, but they fixed it within 5 minutes of me texting them. We had a tour of the farm which was the highlight of my Maine trip. Wish we stayed longer, thank you so much for an amazing/unique stay!! "

"Lee and Peg were incredible hosts. Kind, friendly and helpful! The tent was clean and tidy. The view of the lake was much better in person too. Peg was kind enough to point out a cluster of Indian Ghost Pipe, a fascinating plant growing in the wood just outside the tent. Lee gave a brief natural history of the site, advice on how best to see Acadia, and was quick to address any requests we had.
