"Great location, wonderful property. Kitchen was stocked with all the dishes and cookware we needed for preparing a big family breakfast, and we enjoyed a beautiful afternoon on the back deck overlooking the yard. Loved having cornhole there too! Great layout where the bedrooms are all in their own areas, offering privacy even with a larger group. Very cool setup. Would definitely book again."

"Just minutes from town this was an awsome place to stay . The camper had much more than we expected. Spent time at Scott’s Flat Lake on the paddle boards , our favorite place to be on the water, huge plus is it is just down the road . Host was great ! We would definitely stay there again . "

"The house and property are beautiful and perfectly located. Deer and wild turkeys came right to the house. The Yuba river is at the end of the road you drive up on, you just gotta keep driving even when you hit the narrow dirt road. We went for Grass Valley but fell in love with Nevada City. "My wife and I loved our stay here. The house was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Sitting on the front deck was very relaxing with the stream flowing right in front. We spent most of our time out exploring, there is so much to do in this area. The hike to the top of the lookout tower was amazing (best to drive up thru Bassets and then towards Packer Lake so that you don't have to drive up the rough unpaved road from Sierra City). "My family and I stayed here for a wedding nearby. We had plenty of space between the five of us. The backyard is stunning; the weather was perfect for enjoying dinner and drinks outside in the evenings. "Our group had such a great stay. We were a large college softball team traveling to play UNR and mix in some down time. Our team retreat was a complete success! The house was AMAZING, and met all expectations. Our athletes enjoyed the space, and had such a great time.
