Quiet secluded stay
My friend and I stayed for the weekend and had a lovely time. The property is quiet and secluded, and the beach area is very cute. Dog friendly is also a plus.

The West Annapolis Boyz Return!
Our group of 6 guys who have been friends since elementary school (all 60+ years old now) enjoyed another great annual visit to Cove House. Fish and crabs were biting. Sunsets and rainbows lit up the sky. And good friends reconnected, laughed, and enjoyed being away from the world for a bit. We will be calling again!

Drayen Disappointment !! BEWARE !!
Upon arrivail, after unpacking we looked for the Hot Tub which was advertised on his Vrbo Add it was no where to be found. I called Rick who insisted i looked at the wrong Add ! I Explained to him its the 1st listing of 54 Admendments, been there since May..Then he got really upset ! Down Right Rude... So I let it go dont want to argue with him! Theres a Deck Facing the Water he said Use At Own Risk ! Some of the boards loose. Wow! So we never used it too Scared of Injuries... The Ice Machine was Not Working ! Had to buy ice n store in coolers ! WOW ! There are 2 Cats with a Litter of kittens living under the Front Door Deck we had to Feed n Water Daily.THE KITTENS WERE REMOVED BY THE CLEANING CREW WOW! Host doesnt allow Pets ! Wow This is a Million Dollar House,it needs alot of Work Done! Shame he let it go so long! Wow! Then when i get home he sends me pics that was obivously staged . My Wife & I inspected each room before leaving like we have always done ! We been using Vrbo over 20 years now & have an Excellent Tenant Record !

Great stay on a dreary weekend
What a fantastic property! We loved staying here and our family had such a great time exploring. Sadly it was a drizzly, dreary weekend but we had one nice day to go down to the beach and the kids enjoyed playing in the water. We loved the variety of porches to sit on and have different views and there was plenty of room for the kids to play indoors when it was raining. Overall a great experience. Thank you!

Wonderful spring family getaway
We had a great long weekend together! The house was clean, large with plenty of room and seating, and fully stocked for all our needs. The property was quiet, secluded and beautiful. We enjoyed nature, the golf cart, paddleboarding and campfire. Southern Maryland is a favorite of ours; thank you for making our stay easy, comfortable and lovely!

Amazing property
This property was perfect for our group and a perfect distance from Maryland international raceway which was the reason we were in Maryland. Would highly recommend and the owner Rick was excellent at answering any questions we had.

3rd time coming
This was our third trip to the Cove house in Drayden. The owner has been very gracious with us and has really made my family feel very at home at what is becoming an annual vacation spot for us. My family loves to play at the beach and enjoy the kayaks on the water. This time we also were watching seagulls dive and catch their supper. We had a BBQ supper by the water and watched the sun set. The property is well maintained and the house is in very good condition. The golf cart to get to the beach and back is a very nice perk.

Drayden Dream Property
Good sized home with everything you need. Beautiful property had a great time riding on the golf cart to the pier. Saw lots of wildlife such a peaceful location. Host was very accomodating and went out of his way to help.

Beautiful isolated haven
We had a great time staying at this charming house in a beautiful setting. During the day, we swam, kayaked, crabbed and visited local points of interest. The beach, pier and firepit provided fun and relaxation throughout the day, accessed by the provided golf cart. Great spot to kick back and enjoy family.

Peaceful, Quiet room to roam
A quiet, peaceful spot full of nature. Deer will be feeding in the yard. A fun golf cart drive away to the water where you can fish and kayak. The house is spacious and cooking a breeze.

The cove house
The cove house is a definite gem. It checks all the boxes when looking for the perfect vacation home. Rick was an amazing host and was very helpful in making our stay as comfortable as possible. I would recommend this beautiful home to anyone wanting to stay in the area and hope to return in the future.

Great house for a large group or anyone who loves interesting water
We (myself, my wife, and our 5yo) stayed 4 days/3 nights at this property. We enjoyed the house, which is rambling, comfortable, and interesting, as well as the water features. The small beach was sufficient for our daughter to play on and build sand castles. The beach is a 5 minute trip away, using the provided golf cart, so it is not ideal if you want to fall right off your back deck into the water, but the drive adds a fun element for kids or anyone who doesn't golf on a regular basis. (Plus we spotted several deer and a bald eagle on these trips.) The inlet is perfect for use with the provided kayaks with a great combination of creek, hidden beaches/sandbars, woody shores, and marshes. You can choose any length of trip as the fractal nature of the coastline permits you to go on as long or as short a trip as you like and still enjoy new sights out and back. The house was clean and spacious. We cooked a full dinner (including a large pot of crabs) in the kitchen and didn't lack for anything. Wifi and cellular data were slightly slow, but adequate. Full satellite TV was available. Everything is 20+ minutes away, but everything that you would need for a vacation is available within a half hour drive. Between the beach, fire pit, deck, and large house with numerous bathrooms, and semi-isolation, this is a great place for a family, but would be a perfect place for a youth group, sports team, or other collection of young people who need space and activities, but not necessarily a bed.
