I enjoyed my weekend stay with my husband and our pup in this cute, cozy cabin. The property was in a beautiful, isolated location but still close enough to town to make getting dinner and shopping pretty easy. The cabin was clean and stocked with basic kitchen/bathroom amenities. I didnt cook while we were there, but there is a full sized fridge and stove/oven in the little kitchen, so you could if you wanted to. The bed was comfortable and there were extra blankets, which was nice since it was chilly that weekend. My only real complaint is that there were no curtains on the windows in the kitchen and on the front door. The front door window has a frosted glass pattern on it, but it does not extend to the edges and theres like a 2 inch rim around the perimeter that you can still see through. Since the cabin is all 1 big room and the bed is right in front of the door, this lets in a lot of light from the neighboring cabin and makes it feel a lot less private. We just hung up a towel in front of both of those windows, so it wasn't a big deal. The overhead lights and fan would also randomly turn themselves on repeatedly (not so fun in the middle of the night) but this can be solved by just turning them off at the switch instead of using the remote control (I wonder if remotes in neighboring cabins are on the same frequency and interfere with each other?). But other than those minor things our stay was very enjoyable, and I would definitely stay at The Driftwoods again!
