Amazing property!!
Because F1 had all of the Austin hotels locked in a 5-night minimum stay for the week (@ $1,000 per night!!!), I needed a property big enough to accommodate my group of 10 guys……this place was in a word perfect! We were able to house everyone and have a very successful meeting. The sunsets and sunrises were so beautiful, and the llamas next door were an added bonus. Would definitely recommend for corporate retreats, family reunions, a girls’ weekend or wedding party! Fabulous property. Add it to your list!!!

Family of the Groom lodging 8-2024
Over the top accommodations that surpassed our expectations. Perfect for our group of 16 (room for more). 8/10 rooms with King size beds, which is rare. Loads of indoor space and the outdoor activities were so much fun. Between wedding festivities, we spent most of our time around the pool and hanging in the kitchen or game room. The property manager was communicative, and helpful providing referrals for local vendors. Awesome in every aspect and worth every cent.

Great family gathering spot
This is an amazing property and very well maintained and the pictures are very accurate. The movie theatre and game room were awesome and used constantly. The backyard is huge and well-stocked with everything you need to enjoy all the options and activities. The entire property is well stocked, right down to having anything you need in the kitchen (and all was labeled too). If we had to find one thing we would add, and it was difficult to find one, I’d say an umbrella for shade at the pool would be a welcomed addition. We would definitely stay at this property again.

We rented the Hill Country retreat for a family gathering, and the property was perfect for a large group. Property was amazing and had plenty of activities for everyone to do. Pictures don’t do it justice - will definitely rent again in the future!

Family 2024
Our extended family of 20 vacations together every summer. Every year we travel to a new location….until this year. This is our second year to visit Hill Country Retreat. It’s hard to find any other home that fits everyone so comfortably. From early morning coffee to pickleball, putt putt, basketball, shopping and someone in the pool all day- it’s the ultimate family get together and bonding time. Andrea is always so responsive! Thank you, thank you!

Something for everyone!
I rented this for a reunion on Memorial Day weekend with my 3 siblings and elderly Mom plus our grown children with spouses/others. There was one child- total 18. We loved that the main house has 4 Kings with ensuite bathrooms. The fifth bedroom doesn’t have a bathroom but can easily be shared with the master. My siblings and Mom all stayed in the main house while all the cousins took the guest house. The sleeping accommodations are all very comfortable with ample room and high quality bedding and beds. The a/c works well throughout. The kitchen area was amazing. We spent a lot of time hanging in the kitchen/keeping room just off it and dining area every morning with our coffee. We loved the big table for dinners! The outdoor area is amazing. In the mornings we played games, swam throughout day. It got dark around 8:45 so we played games late in the day. At night the game room was a hit. The theater room is awesome. We took in a matinee as a family one afternoon in the heat of the day. There’s plenty of room in this house to have separate activities and conversations. There’s something for everyone. Little shade outside. Be prepared. The house manager communicates well and responds quickly. We had a few issues with guest house wi-fi but she troubleshooted to get it working. Being this remote you should expect occasional issues like that. We had no issues in main house connecting wifi and TV. Amazing weekend!

Family trip
Incredible property inside and out. Immaculate! So much to do the grandchildren always had an activity to do instead of going back to their screens. Ending the night by the fire or in the movie theater was great family time together. This could not have been a nicer property.

So much fun
This property was a really excellent place to host family and friends over a long weekend for my husband’s birthday. There were so many activities, people were able to split up as they wanted to go do whatever they were interested in, no boredom possible. The guest house was very cozy and not too far away from the main house. The main areas of the primary house were large enough for 15 to easily all gather together. Andrea, the property manager, was very kind and communicative throughout the weekend and in the lead up. The only recommendation I would have is to add some lights around the outdoor recreation area — this would make the space a lot more usable, particularly during the winter when the days are short. All in all it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend it.

Great for all ages
Something to do for everyone! We had ages from 3 to 67 and everybody had a blast. Exactly as listing stated. Very clean! Had all the kitchen essentials you would possibly need. Property Manager is a joy to work with in advance. We did not have any mechanical issues at all. A perfect place for everyone to have fun no matter the weather.

Perfect Property!
We rented the space because my daughter was getting married locally. We were able to fit the whole family, the grooms family and a friend. Everyone had a comfortable, relaxing and fun stay. Everything was in perfect condition, all the instructions and expectations were spelled out. The property manager was available for us- sneaky llamas got in. Had a great time! Highly recommend this property!

Great getaway to celebrate 50th with friends. Property was exactly as advertised and so much fun! We didn't really want or need to leave as there's so much for a large group to do. Spacious and Entertaining
We chose to have our annual staff retreat here which consisted of 12 individual adults. Everyone was able to have their own bed and half of us our own bathroom. There were also many different activities, so there was something for everyone.

Great getaway
Had several family members join us for vacation and to celebrate my son's 11th birthday. We enjoyed our time. Really wish the pool area and patio area would have sunscreens or umbrellas for the 100+ weather. Being it was so hot, playing the games was out until late evening but there is not adequate area lights to enjoy the outdoor games/hot tub/pool after sunset. Beautiful house and we will be going back but not in the heat of the summer!! Andrea was very helpful!

June Family Vacation
The 2 houses were outstanding. It was June Texas heat but air units were working exceptionally well. Although movie projector was inoperable, we appreciated the efforts that were made to remedy that. Pool lights also need repair. Overall our family of 19 had a great time! We would definitely consider returning to such a fun location.

Awesome property! We had an awesome time. We encountered a power outage due to a storm and loss power. Instant communication and fast response to send someone to help. All the amenities were so much fun especially if you are wanting to bind with your team. 5star all around.

Family Vaca 2023
Property was amazing! Everyone had a blast….and Amanda was so helpful and very accommodating. We loved that there was so many activities inside and out so that when it was too hot outside, we just moved to the inside games or theater room. Also, didn’t have to take our pool towels or extra toilet paper or paper towels….plenty supplied. As Amanda told me “all you need is your food and drinks”.

Great place to gather and have fun!
Large, well kept property with all you need to enjoy some downtime. We played all the games, outdoor & indoor. (Even created a tournament around all the outdoor game stations). Enjoyed movies each night and really enjoyed the pool area. Lots of room for everyone to spread out and have their own quiet time!
