"This is a lovely place to come to for relaxation. Perfectly situated to explore the surrounding area. It is roomy, comfortable and excellently equipped with everything you need for your stay. Being pet friendly is an added bonus. I would suggest that the checkin email be sent out a couple of days ahead of the renter’s stay, especially when people are travelling a distance to get there. Stayed September 2024. "

"We stayed for an extended weekend for a wedding at Stonefields with 7 adults and 2 toddlers. The hosts were accommodating and thoughtful with kids activities. Less than 15 minutes away from the wedding venue. Beautiful views of a serene lake with amazing sunset! Outdoor space equip for relaxing and play. Short drive to Carleton Place for groceries and playgrounds. Thanks for a great stay! "

"We have stayed here before, enjoyed it then so much that it was a natural choice for a return trip to the area. The house is well equipped, Alex is an excellent host and our stay was everything we hoped for and more. The sleeping arrangements are great for families, the kitchen has all the dishes, pots and pans you need to have a lovely dinner in. Would highly recommend this property if you’re in the area. "

"This small cabin has your basic necessities and was just fine for my father and I on our last fishing trip of the year. I booked this location due to having a boat dock where I could keep my boat in the water. Unfortunately, late in the year they lower the water levels on the lake and our boat dock was not accessible due to the low water levels. "WE had a family vacation with 4 children 9-18 years and 6 adults. The place is as described, but one needs to read the description carefully - see next re water access. The access to the water is not easy as it is down a path through rocks and when you get to the water it is all green and slimy with a dock covered in goose poop.
