We checked in Thursday. The welcome email suggested we get groceries before going up the mountain, and I was grateful for that recommendation! We were a lot more prepared as a result. We had beautiful drives to Zions and Bryce Canyon. Saturday was the eclipse, and we actually watched it through the big window at the cabin! It was a great view and so comfortable. The family room has a lot of super comfy seating. Relaxing at the cabin was just so easy! The jetted bathtub was very nice. The whole house was well decorated (for fall, in Oct) to give a cozy and homey feel.
Sunday, we made a delicious steak dinner at the cabin, and the cooking and dining experiences were great. I love to cook, and had a great time. The kitchen was well stocked, with seasonings and other nice things we didn’t expect from a rental, like leftover containers and quality Calphalon cookware. There were lots of Corelle and serving dishes. The microwave, convection oven, and outdoor gas grill were all very nice and easy to use, too.
The place was pretty big for two people- it can sleep up to 8, with option for more in another apartment over the garage, but we just got the main house and it was a much more comfortable option than a hotel, but still reasonably priced for us. I will definitely stay there again when I am in the area!
We didn’t need to contact the property owners, because everything was so well organized and prepared, but I knew exactly how to get a hold of them if I needed them.
