"Bear Hollar Lodge is a quiet and spacious cabin in the woods with a beautiful view of fall leaves turning. It overlooks a private pond. The cabin has absolutely everything you need for a time away from all the stresses of life. Host was very responsive. My husband is recovering from cancer and iht was just what the doctor ordered. We look forward to visiting again."

"Great home in interesting neighborhood. Huge local park and friendly neighbors on lots of front porches. Stayed over 1 night on our way to DC. I haven't communicated with the owner on any of this, as nothing was critical enough to warrant calling them at the time. So I'm sure it's already been corrected. There were 8 of us and we had to get creative with the beds. An air mattress would have been helpful for large groups. The refrigerator did not work but the freezer did which was good for...

"What a wonderful property! We loved the privacy of our site and the outdoor area was so fun and relaxing for my partner and I! The hot tub was a hit for him and provided much pain relief and I loved having the ability to cook on the griddle/grill combo! We met Wes on our way out and had a wonderful talk about the area and local culture- he was very knowledgeable and friendly. We both hope to be back for another visit soon! "
