This little cottage was the perfect example of Park Point's history. Built in 1886, it has original walls and charm to delight those who love a little history. Driftwood Cottage comes equipped with everything you need, including games for the family.
One of my favourite things was the book Driftwood by a local artist. It tells stories of Duluth from the author's perspective.
One suggestion for improvement would be a small privacy wall between the Sea Glass cottage and the Driftwood cottage for when you sit on the deck. However, we were prepared for the cottages to be close together, as described. Although we barely saw our neighbours since we explored Duluth daily, the location is perfect—within walking distance of all downtown has to offer.
We had a logistical issue that was promptly resolved with a call from the manager, and the service was good.
The final piece worth sharing is the breathtaking view of Lake Superior from the beach, which is a two-minute walk across the road from Driftwood Cottage. Thank you for a memorable stay.
