Quiet Retreat to Begin the New Year
I knew when I pulled into the driveway I'd made the right choice for a quiet retreat spot to begin 2025. The amenities were great, including a clean, bright well stocked kitchen, comfy sofa to read and bed to rest. Spotless bathroom in the master suite, and beautiful views of my favorite Lake. I look forward to a return visit to this or the adjacent property soon.

Thanksgiving Retreat
The property is great, very well kept and clean. The kitchen is fairly stocked. The view is amazing! Could use more towel sets, both bath and kitchen. One set and having to wait for laundry is sort of annoying. Needs a small cocktail table in the living room for games. Overall a wonderful place. Tabitha was a pleasure to work with!!

Cannot say enough good things. Great location, right on the lake. Everything was clean and in great order. Walking distance to a grocery store as well as nice brewery. We would 100% stay here again and recommend to friends.

Great family stay
My husband and I came up with our 19-month-old for a 3-night stay and had the best time. The home was well stocked, easy to find, and close to grocery stores and restaurants. The view from the deck is beautiful and we enjoyed stargazing through the sky light at night. Everything was clean and communication with the owner was great. We will definitely be back!

Couldn’t be better
Having spent 5 years in Duluth, I know the city fairly well. Understanding the hotels and locations, this was the first time I tried a VRBO and I will never go a different route. The house was BETTER than the listing and it made for an incredible weekend.

Enchantment on the Hill
This house was wonderful, clean, sizable while being small (the impeccable design choices and intention at play makes this petite carriage house feel much larger than its square footage would suggest), and a view that is unmatched. Let us leave you with a reco, set that alarm for sunrise. A bonfire, coffee and sunrise watch adds to the wonderousness of this place. We wanted for not and it was exactly what we needed - relaxation!

Exquisite Magic!
The Carriage House is exquisitely magical. Every detail (inside and out) has been meticulously designed. The furnishings are luxurious. The lake views are unparalleled. I felt so comfortable and relaxed from the very first minute I walked through the door. When I sat on the deck I felt like I was in the lake - not next to it. The view is breathtaking. I can't wait to return!

A perfect lakeside retreat
We loved our stay at the Carriage House. One can tell that everything was thoughtfully decorated and appointed. The amenities were fabulous and I really appreciated the decaf coffee pods! The kitchen was nicely stocked and ready for cooking. The bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean. The bathrobes were a nice touch, and the towels and sheets felt lovely. Most importantly, the location was perfect - absolutely stunning views and tranquil surroundings.
