"Very nice area with several cottages and nice, friendly owners and good communication. Cottage was spacious, clean and had a spa bath. Wifi was working well too. Small issue with the fireplace as the fire went out quickly, maybe need fire starters or we are just bad at starting a fire place! They had sheeps and chickens on the property. If you have kids, there's a small playground, a small basketball court, play area and balls etc for them to play with. Overall, great location, close to Fish...

"Such a lovely place. Very clean and tidy. So close to all amenities, shops and the beach. We had a great time and 4 little boys who enjoyed playing hide and seek throughout the whole place. They said it was perfect for it. Allison was an amazing host. Thanks again for the hospitality. "

"This is a cute little cottage with scenic views and rural charm. From there we were able to visit many beautiful locations in the three days we stayed. The cottage is comfortable, and we got fresh eggs from the hens on the property every day! The only downside was the six goats, which are stabled directly under the bedroom, made constant noise at night, keeping my partner awake on two of the three nights. That aside, we enjoyed our stay!"

"Ideal and very comfortable place to stay for larger groups in very scenic Waratah Bay. House was clean, spacious and had everything that was required. Anything that wasn't was very clearly communicated to us by the host. Only downside is that the location is so secluded that the closest place to eat is either Fish Creek or Forster so means dinner out is always a drive. It was good that the host advised us of all options prior to arriving so there were no surprises. "

"This was a great stay for our pets and teenagers. Close to everything and having 2 living areas was great. Master bed was comfortable and although kitchen very dated had everything we needed. So close to all amenities in and around the South Gippsland region, yet very private at the same time. "Borough Cottage is an exceptionally comfortable family home. We loved everything about it including the very generous breakfast hamper, the comfy couches and cosy warm bed.
