I almost didn't write this review, but my conscience wouldn't let me NOT write it.
The cabin appeared as described. I would have loved to know the history of the cabin. Also, Kylie was amazing and was the best part of our stay. She was willing to go above and beyond the call of duty
I am stunned, however, that none of the reviewers commented on the two most obvious issues....flies and the water.
Each night when we arrived we were met with a whole new crop of flies (50+). Luckily two flyswatters were available. Leaving the bedroom doors closed helped to keep them out of your face at night. Also, we bought painters tape and taped up the cracks between the windows. That helped, but not completely. But, it is located in the country with cattle surrounding so this is likely not an uncommon issue (just not a welcome one).
But, the water alone would be the reason for a poor review. When we arrived the water had a sulphur smell to it (we assumed it was well water). By the end of our ten day stay it smelled like dead fish. Fortunately, we had a Zero water pitcher and a water purifier. I had to filter twice in the pitcher before running it through the purifier. I had to throw the filter from my pitcher away after using it only for those ten days.
One last thing....there's really not any place to unpack your clothes. There is a dresser in the master bedroom, but it's almost full of bed linens. There are some shelves in the hallway where the W/D are located that are about 6" deep.
