"We had 11 people from ages 44-3 stay here for 3 days. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the lovely house that was well supplied with all we needed. We made all our meals at the house and found the kitchen well stocked. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms had plenty of clean towels. "

"My husband, myself, my sister and our children ages 6-17 stayed here for a relaxing family weekend. This is actually my secone stay here this year! The location is perfect! Close to amenities but far enough away to get a full camping/outdoors secluded experience! We love to sit by the fire, watch the birds, fish at Finleys landing and walk the beach. The cabin is cozy and rustic and thoroughly stocked with firewood and cooking supplies! Perfect stay for families! "

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, location was perfect, loved all the wildlife right outside our door, even bald eagles and a pelican, in addition to the geese. So awesome to be able to use the canoe on a peaceful warm afternoon. Couldn't be happier we chose this home. Thank you for your hospitality and so easy to contact the owners with any questions with immediate responses! "

"Had a great weekend staying here. The house was large, clean and had everything we needed, including a fireplace and bathroom in every bedroom! The host left restaurant recommendations and replied quickly if we had questions. We were greeted by two deer in the yard as we drove up. Beautiful property and only a 5-minute drive to downtown. We would definitely stay here again."

Walking and hiking trails were located across the road from us. We had an issue with the oven but the manager was quick to reply to our message. We would return for another stay. "

"This is a much newer property than those surrounding it. It is modern, clean and well laid out. There are 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. All bedrooms are roomy and have TVs. "Located right downtown in Dubuque, this is perfectly secluded on a side street up against the bluff. Quiet and idyllic. The house is well apportioned, which suits itself well to making meals in. But it’s also close to several good places to eat. The beds and linens were comfortable and the furniture was all in good shape and well suited to a gathering of up to six. An added bonus was the bathroom on the first floor, which is different from many of these kinds of row houses. "
