"The host was so responsive even during the holiday week! Brought a group of friends out to celebrate Christmas and couldn’t have asked for a cleaner home. It was well decorated and had fun activities to do. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a cozy lake house!"

"Very nice property with large spaces for different activities. The game area was great for the younger kids. Furniture in first level was very comfortable for TV viewing. Kitchen was well planned for multiple cooks. Bedrooms(7) were great especially with adjoining bathrooms. Decks were really nice with great views of the lake. Only problem was the hot tub was not working properly ( heater) only about bath temp."

"We spent our Christmas at The Birds Nest and absolutely loved it. The photos don't do the home justice. It's quite spacious, with many large rooms and a few spots to hide away like the front room or the side porch. It was rainy and foggy the whole week which made the grounds quite soft and so green. "Wife and I stayed here for two nights. It was a great rustic getaway. Remote location in the middle of the woods, so expect to drive on a gravel road and then a very short stint on dirt. For as remote as it seems, the cell service was still good (AT&T), and I was able to hotspot and stream on the TV (there was no wifi). "Had explained reservation for four adults ladies the accommodation was not two bedrooms it was one bad and one chair and the loft was not appropriate for 70 year old ladies to get up into we had one chair to have a party at 4:00 setting and trying to watch TV in the evening we had to buy three chairs to be able to do that also it's November there were no blankets on the beds"

"The cabin was amazing. We checked in a left for an outing once we got back late and stayed the first night. We regretted having any plans the next day. We just wanted to stay at the cabin. We plan a return trip with the one plan stay there the whole weekend until we leave."
