"Me and my friend stayed in the lodge during our visit to the Lake District and we absolutely loved it! The lodge was beautiful and felt very homey and the views were incredible. The property was clean and had all amenities included that we would need! We will definitely be back and I am 100% recommending the lodge to my family and friends! "

"We loved the lodge. It felt very homely. The park is right at the lake shore. The kitchen was equipped very well. Beds were comfortable and shower powerful. A bonus was the TV with netflix and other apps and good internet connection. We would be back when the weather is warmer. "

En cuanto a la casa, decir que es necesario mejorar muchas cosas para que la estancia sea cómoda y placentera, empezando como punto principal por la limpieza. "We had a great stay using this as our base to explore part of the Lake District, easy access to lakes and many fells in one direction and to vast beaches a short drive away in the other direction. Loved the jacuzzi bath to relax in after a long day walking. We found the stairs to be steeper than we are acustomed to and also smaller treads, but a good hand rail for support when going to bed with tired legs. "What a beautiful location and lovely little cottage. We were worried about the size of the bunk beds as we didn't realise they were not full size but my daughter and friend (5'11" and 5'9" found them very comfortable). The track up to the house was more of a problem. Glad our car has lots of clearance - a small car would not have managed those pot holes!"

"We were looking for a quiet and relaxing couple of days and the Shepherds hut gave us just that. It was small and very cozy. It was warm on arrival which was very welcoming. If i were to give some feedback i would say that a couple of side lamps would be helpful. Overall an excellent stay."

"I booked this lodge via VRBO as a mini break for my birthday with my 8 year old son. The VRBO website clearly stated that the lodge had a private hot tub, as did my booking confirmation. However, upon arrival I discovered that there was NO hot tub. The actual lodge was lovely but VRBO mis-advertised the property.
