"Amazing! We lived in Charlevoix 55 yrs ago as newlyweds in the Coast Guard. Husband spoke with Earl Young to rent the Half House. Couldn’t afford at 150 mo!!! ! So this was soo fun. Beach down the hill, town is walk able everywhere. It’s pretty much original so enjoy the history of it!!! We’ll be back!"

"My wife and I loved our stay at this beautiful beach house sitting steps away from a sandy part of Torch Lake. My wife has a bad ankle and she appreciated the easy layout. Angie communicated everything well to ensure a smooth stay. All the amenities made for a comfortable stay. We thought the beds were comfortable , we slept well. Close to boat rental. Hope to be back , thank you :)"

"Cabin was very clean, cute, and cozy! We brought our 1 year old for his first trip up north. This was a great location for us. 30 min from the beach we like to go to and about 5 min from downtown harbor springs. Owner and kind neighbors gave us firewood that lasted us the entire week which was wonderful. Lots of s’mores made! If you have young ones the cabin is right by the street, so you gotta keep an eye out so they don’t run into the road but our guy did just fine. Would definitely recommend...

"Check-in was seamless once I found the keypad. It was dusk and I expected a keypad with raised numbers on the door. My fault! This is a lovely place to stay. The kitchen had all the essentials. Keurig coffee maker. I loved the feel of being in a log cabin! The rocks in the walls are a nice addition. My husband, a rock hound, loved the bathroom and shower floors! Beautiful and well-maintained. Pet friendly!DNR kayak and boat launch is about 5 minutes away on Torch Lake."

"It’s a little peace of paradise! My favorite spots at this beautiful Lakehouse are sitting on the deck enjoying the lake view in the morning and relaxing on the dock in the evening. Would recommend leaving ac running if guests are checking in as the window ac cooled the place but took a few hours and it was close to 94 degrees out when we checked in. Would also recommend keeping a few coffee mugs for guests and doing a deeper clean of the bathroom."
