A beautiful Orcas Island retreat
We visited Orcas Island for a family event and stayed at Lori's home. It was peaceful, comfortable, well supplied and met us with a glorious view to the west! We enjoyed fires in the fireplace and evening dips in the hot tub under the stars. Beds and linens were great quality and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with just the right amount of good quality cookware, etc. We would stay again. Thanks Lori!

Paradise
The house is beautiful! Excellent kitchen with every appliance you would need. It was so nice that each couple had their own bathroom. We enjoyed the outdoor seating area with beautiful views of the water and the sunsets were gorgeous. We were unable to use the Solo Stove due to fire restrictions. It you are staying in the area we would recommend Orcas sailing company. Captain Nat is the best! The house is well equipped for children.

Secluded property with beautiful views!
This house is absolutely spectacular! It was perfect for our family trip to Orcas. The views are gorgeous, and the house was well-stocked with everything we could possibly need for cooking and enjoying the property. We were also traveling with a young child, and the house had everything we needed for an infant as well!

Location wonderful. Sad so many things closed except for weekends. Fire pit great addition to patio. Too chilly for much patio use but fire pit made our last evening a delight. Billing on sunsets perfectly

Friends reunion
The house is a great gathering place - very spacious and clean, with plenty of areas for a group of Friends (in our case) or a large family) to spread out/hang out. From the large back deck and its water & sunset views to the fire-pit area, to the comfy living room with gas fireplace, a big dining table, and the upstairs loft w/TV, the kitchen island while cooking, the hot tub, and even the front porch or pond area. It all made for a very pleasant, relaxing, no-hassle stay. . Our only issue with this very well located house near Eastsound and other Orcas attractions were the single bed mattresses in the loft. They just were not up to par (with a uncomfortable topper sliding off what appeared to be an old, spent thin mattress) and were not suitable for adults. Definitely felt like an afterthought/for children’s accommodations. Two v. minor gripes here, but the kitchen knives very desperately need to be sharpened. And it would be great if, among the other basics the Hosts have stocked in the pantry, that Olive Oil be a standard item, esp. when the Host makes a point of noting their well appointed kitchen… which, in general, it is. Thanks for opening your home to short term rentals - we very much appreciate your willingness to share it with ua.

Perfect property for a larger family
Can't say enough nice things about this house. It is exactly as the pictures show. If you are looking for a place for your family, this house will work. Comfy living room. Two bedrooms with a bathroom each downstairs, a larger bedroom with bathroom and walk-in closet downstairs. Portable crib and highchair available. Large dining table. A small den with games and puzzles. Upstairs is a large room with two twins, a couch, and a sweet nook tucked away for reading or relaxing. Perfect for our 11 year old grandchild to get a break from the two toddlers downstairs! Everything we needed in the kitchen, lots of room to play outdoors. Homeowner was easy to communicate with. Loved staying here!

Amazing Property
This home was perfect for our family of 8! The home was spacious and cozy all at the same time. The kitchen was fully stocked allowing us to prepare amazing meals and dine together at the dining table. The views of the water and sunset were amazing!! If you're looking for a spacious home for children and adults, close to town (but not too close)....this is the place!

Orcas Getaway
Nice, spacious home with beautiful view. It could have been cleaned better, especially kitchen and the floors in main living area. Also had an issue with a filthy robe that was hung as clean in the closet. Other than that the location, home layout, hot tub and sport court were great.

Perfect Family Getaway
My sister and I celebrated our father who passed away in May of 2022. Both of our families joined us and it was an incredible stay. We loved the large kitchen, the outdoor dining, the french doors leading to the huge deck and fire pit. We spent each night watching the incredible sunsets and then got cozy near the fire. The star gazing and hot tub was a perfect way to end the night. Thank you for a wonderful stay. My father would have loved it.

Unique experience. Tucked away for privacy and quiet. Beautiful view of nature.
We have been to the island several times and rented several homes. This was the nicest. Appropriately appointed for the price. The interior and exterior are clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend this property.
