Weekend visit
We stayed here with another couple. We were in town to visit more friends. This house had everything we needed, is very close to some of our favorite places - Jake’s and the Pioneer - and a short drive to our friend’s house. We would for sure stay again on one of our weekend visits.

Great place, recommended for families!
Everything was GREAT but we recommended that you provide more internal items. For our family of 6 staying 4 day's the following items were definitely not adequate: 2 rolls of toilet paper 1 roll of paper towels 1 box of kleenex 7 trash bags (small white ones) 10 napkins No paper to write on anywhere in the house. As very frequent travelers using these types of lodging in very many different state's for our family vacations we haven't experienced this level of unavailable necessities. Still we have given a 5 star rating and would consider your property again in the future. Just consider your property renters needs a little more.

Great weekend stay
We were in the area for a family function at a larger house on the lake. We needed a good place to revive fir the night. The home was clean and welcoming. The only downside was there was bo dock to the lake. I had some disappointed boys wanting to fish early morning. Otherwise, a great stay.

Very Pleasant Stay
Property is excellent. I was surprised that painters showed up at 8 am on the day of checkout, which is 10 am. Luckily I was up and dressed. As suggestions: a pizza cutter and tongs would have been helpful. Also, put an additional trash bag at the bottom of the trash bag lined container under the sink. None of these suggestions would stop me from staying at 5is property again.

Excellent communication
We were allowed to check in early and there was some concern about possible tornadoes. The communication was fabulous in both instances. Very spartan furnishings but games and most cookware you could need present. Insufficient linen if someone was going to stay on the couch. Only decaf coffee present, lake very green.

Quiet and comfortable
Purpose of vacation was to do some bike riding to explore the north side hills of Menominee and Knapp then relax. Property was perfect for us. Comfortable master suite, great showers, kitchen, deck and stairs to sit on closer to the lake.

Location was great, except no access to fish
I guess I was under the impression from the steps going down to the lake that there would be a way to fish from there. Very disappointing. Other than the master bedroom the beds were not comfortable. Location was great. We rent for vacation at least once a year, we enjoying being able to cook at home and relax. The amount of pans to cook with was at a minimum for 6 people.

Great stay at Tainter Lake
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Tainter Lake. We liked how the property is setup with the master bedroom/bathroom at one end and the other bedrooms and bathroom at opposite end. Having a desk in spare bedroom allowed me to get up early, shower and work without waking him up. It’s a convenient location and quiet neighborhood and a plus to be so close to Jakes and the Pioneer for dining. It would be a great plus to have a grill on the property for making meals and enjoying the outdoors

We so enjoyed our stay. The home was cute n cozy close to towns and restaurants which (Jake's supper club )was very satisfying. We all thought having curtains on kitchen n living room windows would be nice.we would highly recommend this home.

Tainter not a lake very GREEN
Pros: clean nice house, nicely stocked with untensils, cleans beds and lots of room. New stairs to the water Cons: No Dock! We took a boat and a kayak and tied to some untrimmed trees. Very misleading on the ad. No fire ring for a campfire! No grill either. It mentioned in the ad that it had a Kayak or Canoe but didn’t see any there. Would like to see more outdoor living if people are on vacation in the summer. Also there was some bad weather that came through with tornado warnings the week we stayed and the place had the basement locked and we had no storm shelter in case of a tornado. And there is a paper wasp nest under the deck on the front of the house in the NW corner that should be dealt with before someone else gets stung.
