"Booked to stay for 1 night after a trip to Alton Towers. It's a shame we didn't stay for longer as the kids absolutely loved it - particularly the garden which was packed with things for them to do, including a zip line. Would definitely recommend for families and groups of friends with kids."

"Lovely clean property, the children really enjoyed the games. We were very pleased with the little extras that the owners have available like tea & coffee. 40 mins from Alton Towers was very handy with a Tesco enroute so we could get any bits we needed. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again in the future when in the area. "

"We located the property after a change in date for a Archery tournament and the original booking could not be altered and so glad we did. Its a beautiful setting and very secure with the kit we were traveling with. We were greeted by the owners who made us fee extremely welcome. The property was very clean and ready earlier than stated. Stunning views out of every window and 2 large secure paddocks that you can let your 4 legged friend enjoy with no fear of them getting out. "A lovely private get away if you need to unwind and relax this is the place , cosy and warm , bed comfy and outdoor space amazing with hotub and garden area . My only compliant is lack of storage for own food but guess it is a sherpards hut , we will return it's just what we needed after a busy Christmas"

"The whole 'hotel' was not at all well kept. The decorating was shoddy to say the least. Whoever carried out the decorating is completely clueless - i could give many examples - all resulting in the actually cleanliness if the place coming into question. Not good at all. "
