"Had an Awsome 8 days , views were amazing from just about everywhere in the house. Fishing was good from dock, crabbing was slow, a little late in the season. Beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The restaurant just down the street had very good food, especially the fish tacos. No issues at all during our stay. Beautiful club house, indoor pool and golf course."

"The home is probably the oldest in the neighbor. It’s on the canal and has nice views of the neighborhood’s newer homes and boats. It could use some updating & TLC but had a nice layout and a very private master suite on 2nd floor. Easy to get to Virginia’s Asseateague Island beach and all it has to offer. Wallops Island is just minutes away."

"We used this house as a base to see Assateague Island National Seashore in Maryland and Virginia. It was less than an hour drive to the Smith Island Ferry and about a half hour drive to NASA's Wallops Island Visitor Center. It had everything that we would use at our home. "The house was great. Had all items you need for a short stay. The only concern was the unannounced construction of a new house next door. A lot of noise starting very early every morning we stayed. Would have picked another house if knew ahead of time of the construction."

"House is a fixer-upper that the current owner has done a lot of work on. Basic amenities are good. Owner didn't provide instructions about wireless access. I messaged him shortly after we arrived but he didn't respond. Fortunately, I found a piece of paper in a bedside nightstand that had the password, so we were eventually able to overcome the problem. Still, the failure to respond was unacceptable."

"The house was a great location right by the bay with kayaks and bicycles to use. Convenient to both Chincoteague, a half hour drive to the refuge and Assoteague within 45 minutes. Watched the Wallops rocket launch from the balcony. House was very clean and the renovation was well done down to the detail. The kitchen facilitated everything we needed for daily meals. The neighborhood is quiet and quaint. A great experience for our whole family."

"It was perfect for what we needed. We wanted to visit both Chincoteague and Assateague and the location was great for going to both while also being off the beaten path. We enjoyed the Marina restaurant and it was nice to have a little view of the canal. The decorations were simple, beachy, and tasteful. We all loved the "Happy as a seagull with a French fry sign" our kids especially! Check in and check out process was super easy and there was plenty of communication as well as information...

"We were in town visiting family for a wedding, and this was the perfect place for us. The home is clearly well cared for and in great condition. We had everything we needed and appreciated the attention to detail. We didn’t have time to take advantage of most community amenities but our kiddo did have fun on the playground. We’d definitely come back if we’re back in the area in the future!"
