"It’s not often you find a beautifully appointed home that also has a private pool. The kitchen has everything for cooking your fresh catch or local shrimp you just brought home. "My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this cottage over a long weekend with our two dogs. The ground floor is roomy and very pet-friendly! It's all hardwood floors so we brought dog beds so our old dogs had a cozy spot to lay. The stairs to the 2nd floor rooms are steep and slick, and our dogs couldn't quite figure them out. So I would recommend carrying your pup up the stairs or just sleeping in the first-floor bedroom, which is very cozy. The neighborhood was a great place to walk the dogs...

"This was our 2nd year at this house. You simply can not beat the price for this location. Sunrises from the deck are AMAZING!!! The kitchen/living/dining is open and filled with window to take in the ocean view from every room. We definitely recommend this house. Parking underneath the house on the concrete pad is not advisable without an SUV or truck. You’ll bottom out you car and may cause expensive damage. You’d be better off parking on the street. "

"This home is perfect for a gathering of families! Edisto is such a charming little town, and Ryan was incredibly responsive, offering great local tips to help us make the most of our stay. We had a mix of kids (ages 1 to 6) and six adults, and the house had everything we needed, including a high chair, to keep everyone comfortable. The layout is fantastic, with spacious areas for spending time together, and the cozy, thoughtfully curated decor made it feel like a home away from home."

"We were a group of 5 friends. The large living space and kitchen was great! We also loved the 4 large bedrooms and 3 baths. We spent most of our time on the screened in porch enjoying the peace and quiet- even had a visit from a deer. Enjoyed the short walk to the beach and rocking on the front porch. Check in was easy and host was responsive. Can’t wait to stay here again soon!"

"This property was everything we were looking for and more! We have visited Edisto Beach many times and we agreed that this is our favorite house! The house is beautifully maintained and the location is perfect for visitors who love the Sound beach. Having a pool was an added bonus! The home was clean and provided a great space for large families to vacation together and we especially enjoyed all the outdoor areas where you can enjoy fresh air and sunshine! We will definitely rent this home...

"I am writing this review with a lot of experience renting beach homes for our large family vacation and as the owner of a rental unit I take care of in Tennessee. The description of this house is very misleading. It is listed as 4 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. However, in reality it is a 3 bedroom with 1 bathroom, and then in a detached part of the property there is another “bedroom” with a split shower and toilet in other rooms. This may be OK for some people, but it made it problematic for us...
